The right has an Andrew Tate problem

Andrew Tate is a champion sleazeball, a misogynistic, predatory pornographer.
He’s earned the title.
This deviant has boasted for years about making millions by pimping out women, boasting about his sexual abuse of women.
Sadly, some right-of-center influencers in MAGA world have a problem giving a platform to this horrible person–an alleged rapist, human trafficker of minors, and money launderer. He also has a following among men and young men claiming to be Christ followers. This atheist turned Christian turned Muslim gained traction with some Christian men who ignored Tate’s moral depravity to emulate his physical strength.
Tate gained pull over the years in various locations, picking up steam with his social media presence in the Manosphere. Men have been under attack for decades in Hollywood and elsewhere, from the dolt Homer Simpson to dead-beat dads in real life. From playboys, investing, fast cars, lifting weights, and hunting the Manosphere attracted all interests.
Tate arrived in 2022, getting attention fast with his bravado. The law caught up to Tate and his brother, Tristan, as they came under suspicion of rape, human trafficking of minors, and other allegations and were stuck in Romania until just recently.

While in Romania, Tate got attention from a July 2023 Tucker Carlson interview. Conservative grifter Candace Owens joined the fray in August 2024. In 2025, Tate has been interviewed by MAGA podcasters: Trump attorney Alina Habba and Benny Johnson in January and Patrick Bet-David and the Hodge Twins in the past 10 days.
The last four occurred in between videos where Tate bragged of his exploits against women and spent 30 minutes on February 16 on this topic:
Tate claims he’s “misunderstood” and there are “conspiracies” against him when he talks like this.
But why not interview Tate? It's an instant viral video boon for “influencers.” Video of the interview also will get following from people repulsed by Tate. So, it’s a win-win in a world of “any news is good news.”
With his 10.6 million X followers, Tate filled the void of Alpha males in American culture, or so American men are told. Americans are used to spineless, weak, and irresponsible males who are more baby daddy than fathers, and struggle to maintain employment.
Because Tate has countless videos lifting weights and showing off his pecs, men and teen-aged boys have flocked to him as the quintessential 21st century Alpha male–having money, strength, cars, and women. Yet, they lack discernment as the culture screams to pay attention to Tate.
None of that accounts for Tate supporting Hamas over Israel. The Jerusalem Post reported on Tate’s November 2023 interview with Piers Morgan where he called the war a “genocide.”
No one should be shocked a Muslim supports Hamas. However, this is heaped on the mountain of statements where Tate indicts himself. It is chronicled here and here, among other places.

Nothing I can tell you about the Tate brothers could possibly condemn them as quickly as their own words do, though. Here are just a few gems straight from Andrew Tate’s mouth. Apologies for the language ( the word “expletive” is in italics where the language occurs, emphasis mine):
‘Why would you be with a woman who’s not a virgin anyway? She is used goods. Second hand.’
‘When I grab you (a woman) by your neck, and you start annoying me and try to resist, and I just (violently punches his hand several times indicating the beating of a woman) and then I grab you by your neck again, then what the expletive you gonna do when your face is collapsed and your expletive cheekbone is broken? You ain't gonna do expletive but cry.’
‘Females are the ultimate status symbol. People think I’m running around with these hoes because I like sex. That’s nothing to do with the reason why I’m running around with these expletive. I got these expletive just so everyone knows who the don is.’
‘How can I use these women to make me money? I don’t wanna put them on the track because they’re my women, I don’t want other people touching my chicks.’
‘If a woman is going out with a man, she belongs to that man, that's his woman, so she wants to do OnlyFans, she owes him some money, cause she's his.’
On the inside, Tate’s character, integrity, dignity, and his soul, paint a dark picture. He has no regard for women or relationships that develop in a nuclear family.
As these Tate interviews unfolded, some on the right and in Christendom have been accused of cancel culture for questioning why people with influence give more influence to Tate. For example:
The criticism of Johnson and others stems from the lack of common sense in failing to take Tate at his word when he posts videos bragging about abusing and exploiting females. How could anyone ignore that?
While Johnson and others view it as being innocent until proven guilty and an example of right-wing censorship, the folks rebuking the interviews see them as celebrating and glorifying everything that destroys the nuclear family, stable societies, and the value of women.
One person’s free speech crusade and push back against cancel culture is another person’s appalling judgment.
