Federal corruption runs amok

I don’t recognize the United States.
Postmodernism allows people to create their own truths and realities. This has led to gender ideology, among others, where adults allow the mutilation of children’s bodies. Worse, Americans might be canceled, doxxed, or swatted, all because some ideas aren’t acceptable.
As the moral mayhem and cultural chaos unfolds, the federal government grows more rotten to the core. Federal officials and their appointees do whatever they want, not the right things on behalf of all Americans, or the right things guided by the Constitution.
They’ve raised stakes from wasting money and incompetence to financial misconduct, thought crimes, agencies weaponized against Americans, and participating in slavery.
It’s shocking despotism. Worse, accountability never happens within Congress or the courts, cementing two-tiered justice.
U.S. Rep. Chip Roy, R-TX, is one of the good guys. The problem is he must vigorously rebuke colleagues because his perspective about federal spending is not a majority one.
The American people send them back to Washington. Come November, Americans will re-elect at least 90 percent of those on the ballot. The following is a bar chart from Open Secrets that reveals how common it is for incumbent U.S. representatives and senators to be re-elected. Their data starts in 1964.
Financial crises
The national debt surpassed $34 trillion on December 29, and it’s trillions in debt as far as the eye can see. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell and JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon have issued warnings this issue can’t be avoided.
The national debt crisis is generational theft, and it is as much a moral issue as any cultural issue that bombards Americans. We teach children to not steal and it’s one of the 10 Commandments, But our elected officials steal every day by spending money we don’t have.
Powell said the following:
‘In the long run, the U.S. is on an unsustainable fiscal path. The U.S. federal government is on an unsustainable fiscal path. And that just means the debt is growing faster than the economy,’ Powell said in an interview with ‘60 Minutes.’
The longer the Congress kicks the can down the road, their neglect and recklessness worsens, and their list of options gets smaller. Yet, every elected official who sounds the alarm is gaslighted with “they want to cut Medicare and Social Security.” It’s a tactic to reject debate of an obvious crisis.
However, the financial issue got personal for 78 members of Congress in early 2023 when this group failed to report their financial trades as mandated by law. They explained it away with justifications of oversights, clerical errors, and inattentive accountants.
This doesn’t account for the influence of lobbyists and dark money on our elected officials.
Thought crimes
Even two decades ago, it would be unheard of for Americans to be censored for their ideas. It is now Standard Operating Procedure.
A decision on Missouri v. Biden, now Murthy v. Biden, is expected by the U.S. Supreme Court in what should determine how the feds can control speech. The Twitter Files emerged in late 2022 detailing the federal agencies and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that pressured social media companies to control everything from the Hunter Biden laptop story in October 2020 to how to address the covid-19 pandemic.
Journalist Alex Berenson has also sued members of the Biden administration and others because Twitter blocked his covid posts as officials deemed them “disinformation.”
The Hunter Biden laptop story was quashed by Twitter, Facebook and others in October 2020. Americans learned the FBI did have the laptop as the New York Post reported. However, nothing has happened to the more than 50 members of the U.S. intelligence community who called it “Russian disinformation.” They willfully lied, and likely affected the outcome of the 2020 election. And they face no repercussions?
Regarding covid, we were supposed to obey the “public health experts,” without any reservations. Scientists like Dr. Martin Kulldorff, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, and others were silenced simply for having a different perspective about how to proceed. They pushed the Great Barrington Declaration, which focused protection on the elderly and vulnerable and let society continue without lockdowns and other measures thrust on people. The record is clear that Dr. Francis Collins as head of the National Institutes of Health and Dr. Anthony Fauci wanted no part of being questioned.

This week, emails released through a Freedom of Information Act request filed by the American Institute for Economic Research revealed what I see as worrisome communication between Francis Collins, Anthony Fauci, and others within the National Institutes of Health in the fall of 2020. At issue was the Great Barrington Declaration, an open letter written in October 2020 and eventually signed by thousands of scientists. It argues that Covid-19 policy should focus on protecting the elderly and vulnerable, and largely re-open society and school for others.
At the time, Americans would have benefited from a broad, open debate among scientists about the available policy options for controlling the Covid-19 pandemic, and perhaps a bit of compromise. The emails tell us why that isn’t what we got.
Another covid item that became a thought crime was the lab leak from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. The CIA bribed its own investigators to reject the lab leak theory.
Weaponized government against Americans
The National School Boards Association leadership collaborated with the Biden White House before sending out a letter that called parents “domestic terrorists” who were attending school board meetings. The Washington Free Beacon had the exclusive in October 2021 by reporting:
The emails . . . reveal that the National School Board Association's president and CEO sent the letter to Biden on Sept. 29 without approval from the organization's board. The letter said that the acts of some parents at school board meetings across the country could be considered ‘a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes.’

Meanwhile, the ordeal of Mark Houck and his family involving an incident at an abortion clinic was scary as the FBI descended on his home in the early hours of September 23, 2022. Houck was acquitted in February 2023, and it stemmed from events in October 2021:
The allegations in the case were related to two incidents that took place on Oct. 13, 2021, at a Philadelphia abortion clinic, where Houck has been a longtime pro-life sidewalk counselor. The federal indictment alleged that Houck twice shoved an abortion clinic escort, Bruce Love, once when Love was attempting to escort clients and again during a verbal altercation with Love in front of the clinic.
The prosecution argued that Houck pushed Love because he was trying to interfere with his provision of reproductive health services. Houck said he pushed Love because he was just trying to protect his 12-year-old son who was being harassed by Love.
One week after Houck’s acquittal, the FBI’s Richmond Division concocted the absurd narrative that Catholics who prefer the Latin Mass are “white supremacists.” This was first reported by the website UncoveredDC. Imagine that. The FBI had “a leader” assert that a portion of traditional Catholics are “white supremacists.” It’s outrageous and laughable.
Would Team Biden be as aggressive prosecuting crimes against churches or crisis pregnancy centers?
Commerce of kids
All Americans would agree slavery is evil. Yet, the failure to secure the border has spawned the U.S. government being a middle man for human trafficking–21st century slavery.

‘I thought I was going to help place children in loving homes. Instead, I discovered that children are being trafficked through a sophisticated network that begins with recruiting in their home country, smuggled to the U.S. border, and ends when [Office of Refugee Resettlement] delivers a child to a sponsor — some sponsors are criminals and traffickers and members of Transnational Criminal Organizations. Some sponsors view children as commodities and assets to be used for earning income — this is why we are witnessing an explosion of labor trafficking,’ Rodas said.
Much of the legacy media ignored the hearing.
On Feb. 14, journalist James O’Keefe revealed on Twitter the details of a suspected human trafficking operation in Arizona.
The drug cartels run the border. What would anyone expect with that kind of lawlessness?
The depth and breadth of the corruption generates questions, such as:
How do we get accountability, if it won’t happen in elections?
How do we renew constitutional order?
How close to the precipice are we of total collapse, or worse, civil war?
Is it too late for America?
What American patriots can’t do is ever give up.
