I can’t handle the covid lies.
Dr. Anthony Fauci lies.
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention lies.
The Federal Drug Administration lies. It had two officials quit for the decision to push repeated vaccines on children.
Former New York State Gov. Andrew Cuomo lies.
Cuomo’s interview of Dr. Leana Wen on his Quake Media podcast May 7 was the last straw.
This pack of government and public health tyrants have taken the last year to hand wringing about getting things wrong or engaging in historical revisionism. Their guilt drives them to acknowledge something without saying, “I was wrong.”
I understand that Americans want to move on from covid because it was a bad time in multiple ways. However, America is one of many nations with excess deaths, meaning the death rate has not stabilized since covid. Other countries are attempting to seek answers. We aren’t. There’s much unfinished covid business.
The youngest Americans took the brunt of their despotic orders. For example:
School closures into a third school year in some states. It was known by spring and summer 2020 that schools could safely reopen.
Lost learning outcomes.
Mental health crisis.
Face mask mandates, down to preschools.
Vaccine mandates.
50,000 children in 22 states did not return to school after covid closures.
This is a partial list of the chaos these tyrants inflicted on children through college age–all with no accountability.
Cuomo said the following to Wen:
Government had no capacity to enforce any of this: You must wear a mask and people wore masks in New York. But if they said, ‘I’m not wearing a mask,’ there’s nothing I could do about it. You must close your private business. ‘I won’t!’ There’s nothing I could really do about it.
It was all voluntary and it was extraordinary when you think about it that society acted with that uniformity voluntarily because I had no enforcement capacity.
Cuomo’s lies, and those of others, fundamentally transformed lives–for the worse.
Let’s count the ways some governors and public health brass lied:
Origin of the disease—wrong
Transmission—wrong
Asymptomatic spread—wrong
PCR testing—wrong
Fatality rate—wrong
Lockdowns—wrong
Community triggers—wrong
Business closures—wrong
School closures—wrong
Quarantining the healthy—wrong
Impact on youth—wrong
Hospital overload—wrong
Plexiglass barriers—wrong
Social distancing—wrong
Outdoor spread—wrong
Masks—wrong
Variant impact—wrong
Natural immunity—wrong
Vaccine efficacy—wrong
Vaccine injury—wrong
On Thursday, we had a transcript released of former NIH Director Dr. Francis Collins’s testimony to the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic. That same panel learned Dr. Anthony Fauci’s assistant, Dr. David Morens, loves avoiding transparency.
Cuomo’s comments to Wen are a heaping dung pile alert. Here’s a snapshot of life in New York under Cuomo during covid.
He arrested, charged, and fined people deemed not in compliance with his orders. I will not give details to the date or location, but I witnessed a public health agent “enforcing the mandates.” Also, the local newspaper had numerous accounts of enforced mandates.
Additionally, I remember Memorial Day 2020 when my son and I searched for a park to shoot baskets. Four different public parks were either closed, had baskets taken off backboards, or some obstruction installed from playing basketball.
We now know the greatest threat for covid transmission was shooting free throws, three pointers, or jump shots outdoors. Thank God these bullies took actions to “stop the spread.”
Additionally, I remember unconfirmed reports of concern by pastors related to state agents visiting churches to ensure their cockamamie and nonsensical seating capacity, social distancing, and masking rules were followed.
NYS was one of the first to mandate covid testing for residents traveling to other states. My son graduated high school in 2021 and planned to stay at home, attend the local community college, and work for a year before transferring. Then the vaccine mandate for NYS colleges emerged in spring 2021 and he wanted no part of experimental gene therapy. His only other school was Cedarville University in southwestern Ohio. The travel restrictions prevented us from face-to-face discussion with Admissions and Financial Aid at Cedarville University his senior year. It created genuine challenges in the transition to college.
Yet, governors of neighboring states to NY worked with Cuomo to avoid covid testing, making this virus the smartest one ever.
Cuomo created multiple conflicts, which also impacted the sports season at school. As the athletic director at Bethel Baptist Christian Academy beginning in late August 2020, it compelled us to get creative to have a basketball season. Our guys went undefeated and won a three-peat in a conference with schools from PA, despite all of the covid drama.
And the state required nursing home visitors to do covid tests, including temperature checks, every time they visited up until March 2023.
If you did not live in a blue state with one-party rule, you have no idea what life was like. These people harmed a generation of kids, and countless other Americans, and we must demand accountability.
