A dictator by any other name is Joe Biden

Americans must finally realize we aren't free like we like to think we are

Irony has reared its head between the United States and China.

This brouhaha last week stems from President Joe Biden calling Chinese President Xi Jinping a dictator.

The irony is that Biden called China’s Xi a “dictator” 8 days after Biden was called a “wannabe dictator” for 27 seconds on Fox News.

Let no one be confused that both Xi and Biden are dictators, one in reality as leader of a communist country, and the other by consistently acting like and talking like one. 

In Xi’s case, being called a dictator “seriously violated China’s political dignity.” Who knew China’s “political dignity” could be so fragile? Xi, you’re a communist. Own it. 

Let us consider just some of the ways that Xi Jinping is a “dictator.”

China kills political prisoners for their organ harvesting operation.

China has re-education camps for Uighur Muslims, Fulan Gong, and others who are regarded as “threats to the stability of China.” Those re-education camps are pure Chinese communist indoctrination camps.

China imprisons Christians and other religious minorities, especially those connected to house churches or “unregistered churches.” This has been documented many times by multiple credible organizations. 

China engages in slave labor.There is an overwhelming and compelling amount of evidence showing the Chinese engage in forced labor. 

China imposed its thuggery on Hong Kong in 2019 and 2020. The NBA had multiple fans attend preseason games protesting China’s actions in Hong Kong. The NBA does business with the CCP.  Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr deflected to “US human rights abuses.” LeBron James called then Rockets GM Daryl Morey “misinformed" for a tweet in favor of freedom in Hong Kong.

China has displayed no transparency over the covid-19 origins. The conspiracy theory of the lab leak is no longer a conspiracy theory. Team Xi not lifted a finger to help give the world answers. Only a dictator would do that.

There were numerous videos during covid of Chinese thugs bolting doors shut or roughing up Chinese citizens. There were even videos of Chinese citizens screaming or singing from the balcony during these forced lockdowns. The Chinese government used drones warning people to go back inside–and above all–”control your soul's desire for freedom.”

All these are signs of an intensely autocratic–and yes, dictatorial–regime.

But calling Xi a dictator seriously violates China’s “political dignity.”

Let’s not forget China’s death count under Chairman Mao. Mao Zedong’s Cultural Revolution post World War II brought in the communist government. It is estimated that between 40 million to 80 million Chinese citizens were killed during that period.

The classic definition of a dictator is someone who displays autocratic, or absolute, power. In the case of Biden, if it looks, walks, and talks like a duck, then he’s a dictator too.

On June 13, Biden’s Department of Justice arrested former President Donald Trump in the classified records case. That evening, Biden spoke at a NATO event at the White House and Trump spoke to supporters in New Jersey. During the simultaneous speeches and a split screen of the two men, a Fox News producer put the following chyron on the air for 27 seconds: “Wannabe dictator speaks at the White House after having his political rival arrested.”

The Fox News producer quit the next day. Third world dictators have their political rivals arrested. And one need not be a card carrying MAGA type to see how ugly this looks. Some Americans could easily consider what happens next? Locking up supporters of Donald Trump or anyone regarded as a political enemy?

Meanwhile, Hunter Biden agreed to plead guilty to two misdemeanor charges of willfully failing to pay income taxes and to enter into an agreement that could avert a conviction on a gun-related charge, according to a court filing on June 20.

On June 21, Biden called Xi a dictator.

On June 22, an IRS whistleblower came forward to say the Biden Department of Justice stymied their investigation on potential felony tax charges against Hunter Biden. It came with the emergence of Hunter Biden in direct contact with someone in China, bragging his father was at his side.

Later Thursday, Biden Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the National Security Council, were bombarded with reporters' questions about the revelations. Kirby walked out of his press briefing. 

U.S.  Rep. James Comer, R-Ken., House Government Oversight Committee chairman, has been combing through the Biden family’s overseas business dealings and questioning witnesses about alleged influence peddling. 

That evening the White House conducted a state dinner for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi who was in town. Both Hunter Biden and AG Merrick Garland were in attendance. That didn’t look good, much like other dictators and their kids who flaunt misbehavior.

Garland marched to the podium on Friday and said, "Some have chosen to attack the integrity of the Justice Department by claiming that we do not treat cases alike. This constitutes an attack on an institution that is essential to American democracy... Nothing could be further from the truth."

All of that happened in about 72 hours.

There is other Biden behavior where he acts like a dictator.

President Joe Biden used his executive powers of the Occupational Safety and Hazard Administration (OSHA) to compel the covid vaccine on federal employees–at the risk of their jobs. 

A dictator wouldn't compel you to do something against your wishes, would he?

Only a dictator would determine what is and isn’t acceptable speech. And only a dictator would lead a government that compels social media companies to take the action the government desires. Well, the Twitter Files by Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger have exposed an active government campaign to censor speech it doesn’t like. China does that too.

And Wired reported on June 12 that a newly declassified report from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence reveals that the federal government is buying troves of data about Americans. They are doing so without obtaining proper search warrants. This also is the actions of people leading a dictatorship, not a free country.

The media and others on the left display shock and awe that anyone would dare call President Joe Biden a “wannabe dictator,” let alone a dictator.

Biden also said the following at a California fundraiser on June 21: “You know, I love these guys who say the Second Amendment is — you know, the tree of liberty is water with the blood of patriots. Well, if [you] want to do that, you want to work against the government, you need an F-16. You need something else than just an AR-15.”

President Joe Biden has demonstrated multiple actions that would make any reasonable American believe that he indeed is a dictator.

It is time for Americans to wake up to that sobering reality.
